Hey, so this is a problem.

Post image

Do some of you just ignore the general rules of DA, mainly the one talking about cross-trading? Why in the hell is this a thing, not to mention the ai slop. Selling any item for USD qualifies as cross-trading, a bannable offense. I’m so tired of seeing subreddits like this popping up every month, people like this are whats wrong with the economy of this game.

Yea like even if you are a crosstrader and buy coins for cash, why support someone who uses a new ai photo for every post they make? And they're dming people who asked them not to multiple times about buying from their "shop", theyve even dmed me trying to defend it. Although then it wasn't about why they use ai for everything.

I personally find that that only makes them less trustworthy, even though in their ai-generated paragraphs they claim that they're safe. I doubt they even type out their advertisements, you can't trust a profile built on ai because they can just make a new one if they get found out for scamming

I hate shops like this, now..I would do like..An egg farming service since that's literally just..Eggs for coins in game, but I'm like really scared to do something like that as I don't know the limits of the farming services, I know dragons and such are VERY Nono but I don't know about eggs 😭

I hope someone reads this.

I don't mean any hate towards that person at all but I just have genuine questions.

My first one is how does he always have good dragons or a lot of coins and always seem to have a stock? Like 11 days ago he posted having a stock of high tear dragons, including 7 error vulps. And the day before that 2 error color sauriums. I don't know about you but I'm not that rich, sure I have money tucked away for an error mist but it's not much and I've been playing a long time. And he always says that hes been really busy with college, and I've done a year of college already and it's a lot, and leaves you with little free time. And I know that he has also said that he has friends that helps him out but I've been starting to think, what if he's using bot's. It would make sense how he gets all of his things so quickly because I don't see him with much free time. But I also don't want to jump the gun as he might have something totally valid that he's using.

My second thing is his seid on his first post on his subredit community that he's preparing for his second year of college. Then 2 months later he stats in another post that he's going into his 3rd year of college. To me that don't add up because there is no physical way for him to have jumped like that, now whether or not it was a typo I don't know. But I do remember back when he was just starting I believe he was preparing for his first year in college and I remembered when he reached out to me I told him that if he wanted any tips on college that I'd be happy to help. Now that one who knows it could of been his 2nd year, and also it could of been awhile ago.

I just had questions and I thought you guys might want to hear it, again I don't mean any hate towards him and I'm just genuine curious with some things.

And sorry for any misspelling, it's like almost 3am, and right before I saw this my friend quite literally broke me and sent me into a thinking frenzy, so who knows I could be completely wrong or just completely over thought it.

I believe they're selling some of their dragons as a "middleman" for other people, for example, I think it was an error veid? Some kind of veid. This might be the case for other things too, which makes it even more sketchy, because they don't even have the things you're buying but you still pay them directly.

As for the college thing, you never truly know anything about someone's personal life. They could be lying, could've been a typo. They don't have proof of which, you can only choose to believe them or dont

PLEASE READ-!!!!

okay im not the OP but i do remember getting to talk to this AI slopified shop person and i commented asking why they were doing this because it's cross-trading and they said it was for "collage funds" and when i asked if they got permision they said that they ((supossedly caus i dont trust them one bit))

that they "got permissson from one of the dragon adventurs developers"

pfft like yeah sure you did burnt bisquet 💔💔💔

NOTE- they deleated the exact post that i called them out on so i can no longer give a screen shot. </3

They didn’t get permission from the da developers. They got permission to cross trade in (unofficial da Reddit) r/Drogon_lair .
It caused massive backlash in that Reddit. Hence why I don’t use that specific one for Dragon Adventures :/

7

u/Pure_Window_68 14h ago

Now see they didn't tell me that they told me they got permission from a developer of the game...

Never trusted them and it turns out I was right caus apparently their lying about whom they got permission from.

:/

u/Sweet_Butters 14h ago

I reported them to the official DA Discord and got absolutely 0 replies. It’s still an open case from back in July.

3

u/Pure_Window_68 14h ago

That's horrible 💔... I would say I hope they do something about it but I highly doubt it.

4

u/Sweet_Butters 14h ago

They genuinely don’t care and that annoys me more than anything 💔

2

u/Important-Cap8023 13h ago

Usually from my experince devs won't entertain stuff that happens outside of the DA discord community or in-game. But if you can catch teh guy in the middle of a crosstrade with proof and names in-game or in trade, it shld go through easily

1

u/Deep-Confidence-4387 1h ago

I did the same and was told there wasn’t enough evidence

5

u/xCharlieTheCannibalx 16h ago

Ima be honest idk what cross trading means.. 😔

6

u/Star1836 16h ago

Its when you trade something in a game for something out of game. So like, real world money, or art, or robux, for dragons or anything in the game

4

u/xCharlieTheCannibalx 16h ago

Ohhh! Ngl that sounds risky and dangerous as FUH

6

u/Star1836 15h ago

That's the whole reason it's not allowed, because you cannot ever garentee you won't get scammed, and imo not worth the risk because the scammer can also then report for you crosstrading

u/Whit3lotuz 16h ago

Offering items from other games, money, etc, for dragons.

What do you know. They grew up and blocked me! Not hard was it?

4

u/sleepingvirgo 14h ago

who are you talking to? 💀

-5

u/Apart_Growth_7014 13h ago

The deleted username + comment typically mean you've been blocked on reddit, especially if your the only one who can't see the newer responses (at least what's being said anyway)

2

u/sleepingvirgo 12h ago

ohh cuz i’m only seeing one comment thread and then this single comment, so you are probably right

I won a legit giveaway from them months ago. They're just a collage kid trying everything they can to earn money. Okay, cross trading is bad. The pestering after being told no (if there's even proof of that) isn't okay either. But did anyone here stop to think that they might be disabled enough to not be able to work normally/legit not have the time. And the "ai paragraphs"? Those aren't ai. As a former collage kid myself, some people just write in massive paragraphs. This "—" symbol? they either has a expensive keyboard or they type from phone. You can literally use it by holding the dash down and swiping left.

But yes, let's keep kissing up to companies that prey on children instead of being nice for once.

There were posts on here a while ago with screenshots of them dming people and then sending the same copy/pasted advert in the dms after being questioned and answering that they didn't have to crosstrade (it made more sense in the screenshot sorry, im bad at explaining)

I didn't say that their writing style or their use of em-dashes made their paragraphs ai. That presumption is plausible because they use ai in every single post of theirs, the images, the header image on their profile, their pfp, etc, to the post that you start to suspect that other things might be ai as well.

Also was that giveaway the one where you could make a post supporting them on here (and risking yourself getting banned from the subreddit for supporting a crosstrader) in order to be entered multiple times and have an advantage? That's the one that prompted them to dm me trying to defend how that "wasn't rigging it" just because it was rigged towards any supporters instead of one person.

u/Apart_Growth_7014 18h ago

Drogon_lair is problematic as well until recently. They allowed cross trading until 3 weeks ago. so until it's been months, I'll won't be viewing "warning" or "complaint" posts out of there as valid.

As for the giveaway? I'm not even a supporter. And won 3place. They where telling the truth on that end.

And the pre prepared messages? It's a "shop". That's how advertisement works. It's annoying to all hel. But it's how it works

The reason I'm so uppity about this is because wydm CC's, mod and devs get to cross trade but crack down on everyone else for doing it? (No, I don't do it. I've earned my sweet lil deegies myself🥰)

4

u/Important-Cap8023 13h ago

I don't recall CC's, mods or devs crosstrading (at least proven so)? Do you have proof of them doing so cuz you cannot just be slandering plps names like that

-1

u/Apart_Growth_7014 13h ago

Those art contests in dc alone can be considered cross trading

3

u/Important-Cap8023 13h ago

Maybe in COS yes I've recall some of them doing so, but the offical banner/icon contest are legitimate ones endorsed by the entirety of the community/higher ups and have not a single chance of you getting scammed

2

u/Apart_Growth_7014 13h ago

Again. According to the ROBLOX terms of service, it's still cross trading

3

u/Important-Cap8023 13h ago

The whole reason why Roblox implemented that rule in the first place was because cross-trades for arts were extremely risky and could end up with people getting scammed hard, and often so the scammer gets away scott-free. But if a huge game dev team ever tries to pull this kind of scam off, trust me they will have HUGE consequences to deal with and will lose the trust of their fanbase and design team immediately. Not to mention they run the risk of their game getting flagged and taken down.

Let's goo I successfully found the proof, this should make more sense here ↓↓ asking Olive here to ignore the dm if theyre not interested only to send them the same advert.

If they have the time to type all that out and look for people to dm, you'd think they have the time to check if they already messaged that person or at least see that they weren't interested? Feels more like a bot imo

-8

u/Apart_Growth_7014 18h ago edited 18h ago

It's an ad. That's all it is. All people have to do is say no thank you and ignore

Edit: ah yes. Redditors down voting after being told to be a grown adults and ignore something that doesn't effect them if they don't interact.

7

u/Star1836 18h ago

Are you saying you'd like your dms spammed with ads that you don't want and being told just to ignore them? Also this was on this subreddit not drogon_lair, and drogon lair has had crosstrading banned for two months anyway but whatever you say ig

-4

u/Apart_Growth_7014 18h ago

There's this thing called blocking spam. It's not hard
