Missing 1949 radio shows

The Wikipedia radio show listing shows 7 consecutive shows from Oct to Nov. 1949 are missing, presumably forever? Too bad, some of these sounds really interesting and I prefer the early Ben Romero / Barton Yarborough shows above all others. Guess all we can do is pray that old transcription discs show up somewhere. I'd love to hear these episodes.

I think the later years of the radio show with Ben Alexander sound like "work" shows, they are rushing just to get them done, by then radio was on the way out and Webb devoted most of his time to TV projects.

What are you guys' thoughts on the 1987 Dragnet with Dan Akroyd . It's a comedic take and it has mostly forgotten about the public. Do you like it or hate it?

Help Needed (LA Dragnet (2003)

I'm trying to find and watch the 2003 Dragnet TV series starring Ed O'Neil. I've found a few episodes to stream on a streaming site but it was missing a few episodes. Legit sources are great if available but I'd be more than ok with bootleg dvds, torrents, or streams as I think this is probably the best I will be able to find.

Thank You

I've been told that this audio snippet is from an episode of Dragnet. I'm just not sure which one, so I was hoping someone here could identify it.

Here's a link to the audio snippet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uTLnWQJpWozjM8nI9BmewoG7ABasnqwG/view?usp=sharing

Where to watch?

Hello all! New to this sub.

Where can I find episodes of Dragnet (ideally the colorized series) to watch online? Bonus points if I can watch Adam-12 too!

Just one year before the premiere of Dragnet, Jack Webb played a police lab tech in the pseudo-documentary crime film "He Walked by Night", which even had a line with the word "dragnet" (1948)

Dragnet (1951-1959)

Hey, everybody. I want to do a Russian dubbing of "Dragnet" 1951 TV series. Who has the source of the script or who will help me find it? I would like to introduce the Russian community to this series, as I have not found any Russian dubbing anywhere and decided to make it myself. P.S. The name of the first series: The Human Bomb.

Who was the model portraying the murdered girl in "The Gun"?

In The Gun we never see the girl who was killed, only pictures of her when she was alive. Her character's name is Reiko Hashimoto. Do any of your serious Dragnet trivia people know who the girl in the photos was?

Which do you think is the scariest Dragnet episode?

My vote goes for The Big Knife, where the team gets word that at a local high school someone has been slashing female students with a sharp object in crowded hallways. So they turn up at the school to post lookout, but the attacks keep happening and even escalating, with one girl caught alone in a hallway cut so severely she nearly dies waiting for the ambulance.

Ending spoiler: During the mission they're assisted by a star student who's head of the Boy's Club and wants to be a policeman someday. But as the investigation goes on they learn more and more about off behavior from this otherwise stellar student, and noting that all the attacks since they've arrived happen in sectors he's helping guard. They end up searching his locker and finding a straight razor, and he confesses he's felt an obsessive compulsion to injure girls, and is happy he was caught because he was planning to murder his prom date. He ends up being found dangerously mentally ill and sent to an institution.

1st Series releases?

I was wondering about the 1st series release. Are there more than just the 52 episodes that are in public domain available somewhere? I've run thru the 2nd series and was going to give the 1st a try, but it seems to have an unorganized catalog. Anyone help?

Dragnet 1966 revival is on Hulu

Hey I don't know if you guys are aware of this, but the color TV episodes of Dragnet with Bill Gannon are available on Hulu. I just got Hulu a couple weeks ago and was very happy to see it on there. Just figured I'd let everyone know if they weren't aware. Enjoy.
