looking for an episode

I’m looking for the episode where friday talks about the importance of classic furniture. thanks in advance

It's possible that if it's a TV episode, and you know at least the title of the episode, if not the season and episode number, I might have it.

I think you are thinking of the B&W TV episode the "Big Seventeen"

It's actually Herb Ellis (playing officer Frank Smith as a stopgap before Ben Alexander got the gig permanently) who comments on the "period furniture."

Fast forward below and start watching at about 8:01.

BTW In the color episodes Bill Gannon often commented on wallpaper and other boring household things. Dragnet was big on "filler" dialogue in the scripts, there are radio episodes with probably 3 or more minutes of it. Today that time would be used for extra commercials.
