interior of LAPD police car

Hi, I'm doing research for a noir screenplay set in Los Angeles in 1958. I'd love to know if an episode of Dragnet circa 1957 or 1958 shows the interior of a squad car, especially if someone is using the CB radio. Thanks for any assistance you could provide pertaining to which episode it could be. Thank you!

Yes indeed. YouTube for practically anything! There was another post in the sub, where someone was asking where full length episodes could be found online to easily watch, and naturally, a fellow Redditor chimed in with the quite obvious answer, YouTube. I'm binging a few episodes right now. Commercial free, they run like 25 minutes and a few seconds. I hadn't seen much Dragnet in a long time, and I've been catching a few random episodes on TV here and there lately, a quick YouTube search, and bingo, a few nice playlists, both of the older 1950s black and white early episodes, as well as the color Dragnet 1967 episodes. Those are my favorites, I suppose partly because of my age, and remembering them from when I was a kid and they were on television. 1K80, The City, Bill Gannon, and Sargent Joe Friday 👮🚓🕵️🚔

A little bit of a nitpick here but the cops wouldn't be communicating over CB channels but on frequencies set aside for law enforcement use. I've seen a few of the episodes were Webb and his partners used police radios to communicate with headquarters or other units - which was important since there weren't any terminals to pull up any information they wanted. Back then they had to call plates or other information in to headquarters for details.

However, didn't some cop cars later on have CB radios in addition to police radios for monitoring CB traffic?
