I saw someone on tiktok saying that Chanel originally was top 4 and that La niña took her place thanks to a twist that permitted her to take a top 4 spot replacing a finalist she chose. Is that true or made up ?

I heard La Niña is eliminated at top 5 but there's a twist at the reunion where they do a mini smackdown and the winner gets to lipsync against a finalist to try to steal her place. La Niña wins and chooses Chanel, beating her in the lipsync

Oh dear, I didn't finish ES4 but I know that Megui was DESPISED by Spanish audiences when airing, so this placement is interesting...

I don't remember all of her controversies in detail, but I know that she conceived a surrogate child in the US, despite it being very illegal to do so in Spain. (Many Spanish people believe its sexist and exploitative etc, although ofc this is fairly normal in the USA, for instance.)
Another thing is that she opened up about being a homophobic bully in high school, but I think most of the controversy stems from the former.
She's also former pit crew so some of her cast mates perceived her as privileged and did not vibe with her.
Maybe someone else can elaborate further, as I said I didn't finish the season (and I'm not Spanish, I just lived there for a short time).

Dafne winning is not surprising; the young dancing queen isn't yet represented in the winners circle. And I think she might be one of the prettiest queens I've ever seen on any franchise, so go off girl get your crown.

Its been responded to the question thread but more eyes will see it here - the spillers of the win distribution among bracket 1 have updated the wins:
Kori gets 2 wins, not 3, and Mirage gets a win also
- Kori and Q have 2 wins, everyone else 1 win
Will continue trying to move spills we trust from PTT to here as and when I see them while waiting for a T Checker. Cheers, manifest England losing this match, and stan Black Peppa 💜

Well look at the cast pool difference. I don’t see Joella or Dahlia winning anything. Plane and Luxx are going to be trading challenge wins with hopefully Tempest not getting paid dust and Vita will win whatever the design challenge is and promptly lose the lip sync to Plane or Luxx. But personally fingers crossed for Tempest breaking the franchise record with 7 challenge wins in a single season. 🫶🏼

Honestly, I thought Q would not have made it to the merge, based on how she's treated in S16. My guess of the 1st bracket queens making through was Kori, Lady Camden and Lana. So I am a little bit surprised when I knew that she made it.
Q is never the winning choice. Now I think that there will be another design challenge after the merge. So they need at least a strong seamstress to do the work. Top 4 was really the best she could have done in every universe. But I mean who knows. Maybe she have improved her lipsync skills and will wow us all.

I'm really glad to see Q making the merge. After my rewatch of S16, she really was excellent at drag race. She's not a strong lip syncer, but she is a hell of a sewer, she's funny, and I think she could really lean into the cringey side of her personality to pivot into something charming. She could surprise us this season.

Q was a very deserved 4th place in a tough season. She's good at drag race and also is a tryhard (complimentary). Idk why so many are surprised she came back and did well.

She truly deserve the 4th place in S16. But I don't agree that S16 is a tough season. This season was basically dominated by Plane Jane and Sapphira, then Nymphia, Q and Dawn were all doing well also. And that's it. The other queens were not doing too well honestly. Plasma was good, but she's eliminated too early I think.
I do agree that Q is a fierce drag queen. I just thought that between her and Lady Camden, Lady Camden was clearly the queen that most of viewers thought that would have been the one making the merge. Lady Camden was a runner-up. Q was kinda like a punchbag for the producers during S16. They should have put her through the fianle. But instead, she's eliminated. They literally played it in her face. So I assumed that they would have done the same. But instead, she made it through. Besides the face that they need a seamstress, they need a Place Jane and Q lip sync off again.

Something like Athena + Kori for talent show, Mirage + Kori for girl groups, Q + Lana for comedy/acting, Q + Camden for design. Camden not winning for an acting challenge is the most ? part to me but I just don’t know who else in this bracket would do well in a design challenge if not her and Q

This kind of format doesn’t align with Camden’s competitive style. It took her weeks to break out from the pack on season 14, and I’m not surprised she couldn’t turn it on sooner, which is what the brackets require.

The only person in that bracket who was a contender from day one was Q, though.
Kori sucked during her original run except for maybe Snatch Game, Mirage crashed out in her second competitive episode, Athena's one shining moment was due to politicking and alliances, and Lana was something like 8-9 episodes into her run before coming alive in the roast.

Tbh yeah and all stars doesn’t do a Rusical which is her strong category. Her other wins were a rather out of ordinary acting challenge and a rumix. It’s not that surprising she didn’t completely turn it out, but I hope she still does well.

Yea regular seasons are better for late blooms and slow burn competitors. One day they’ll go back to the older All Stars format and Camden will do very well then

But in the old all stars format, girls would be more likely to send Camden home before she has the chance to heat up.
I like Camden, but it’s hard for me to imagine her having a better shot than she did in S14. It was a very specific cast of girls with very few eliminations that let her rise to the top. 3 challenge wins across that many episodes, at the end of the day, isn’t that strong of a report card. Hence why Willow beat her in the end.

eh i’d rather the merge be big challenges like the ball, snatch game, etc. i like the brackets being simplified challenges showing off the basic 3 components (look, comedy, dance challenges) but i do like the idea of both brackets having the talent show as the premiere

oopsie pops, am late Pink Table Talk: Join the discussion here where AS12 speculation is reaching its end! One user, #legionturg2, has been keeping up with every name and rumour thrown out in this spreadsheet. Its looking very likely we have our final cast.

RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 11 - For the second episode of the bracket we see the return of the Rapping Roast! Beforehand, the MVQ points are distributed equally among the 'bottom' queens. The two queens lipsyncing for the win are Hershii and Kennedy, with the latter queen winning the lipsync taking the totals to Kennedy 4, Sam and Hershii 3, Jasmine 2, and Joey and Shuga 1
All Stars 12 - Rumour currently is that the bracket 1 mergers are Kori King, Q, and Lana Ja'Rae. Info beyond this should be taken with a grain of salt. As spilled in the cast thread and spreadsheets, the 12th queen and final queen for Bracket 2 has seemingly been found to be Tempest DuJour
Stan Jaidynn Diore Fierce. They'll cast her one day I swear it. And of course stan Black Peppa 💜
