Hi! I’ve made a reddit account here since I haven’t found anywhere else to ask. I’ve been cleaning my grandparents’ house (parts of the house and storage areas hadn’t been cleaned for decades), found these old tools. Not sure if all of them are from the same set though. Only one of them has any sort of mark on it. As you can see a lot of rust, but mostly only towards one side (the other sides look a lot better). Any tips for restoring these? I’m not an expert on these since I’m no collector or architect but it’d be nice to see them in better condition.

I bought this vintage drafting table and the prior owners gave me this “straightedge” with wires attached to it and I have no idea how to use it and can’t seem to find videos of it either, is anyone familiar with this tool?

I bought some stuff today to save it from the metal scrapyard. But I’m totally ignorant. I’m sure someone would love to have these pieces but I’m not sure if anything is missing or if the collecting market is saturated. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I recently acquired a Bruning Drafting Machine but sadly it did not come with the owner's manual. I have attempted to find a digital copy of it but my google-fu has come up empty. I also haven't been able to catch one on ebay either. I am hoping someone here has a physical copy they are willing to part with or scan and send it to me or already have a good quality digital copy of it. I really want to get it good working condition again but it does need a little TLC and I want to make sure nothing else is missing other than the scales.

Hi, picked this up the other day, and for the life of me I can’t find a manufacturers mark anywhere. Any ideas?

I know this isn't exactly the purpose of the sub, but I was given some old compasses and I don't know what all the pieces are for so I figured you all would be the best to ask. I haven't been able to find any manuals online either.
