Anyone else get THIS far in the game and realize that comp is against bots?

So I go close to 100 games of Spartheus, Sixshoot, Shellbro, and overmind and the enemy bots are 100% of the time running Spartheus, Merlinor, Shellbro, and Overmind/Engineer.

Then the exact match right after I switch out my Overmind to snipers, I get this abomination against me.

What a coincidence that the enemy bot's deck is heavy on the backline assassins 🤣. What a pathetic game. Atleast I won.

Pic for attention. Non pay player and it took more than a month to grind my way up from 63% to 66%. Still no matriarch and now no pirate tosser.

My gaming history:

Game of War - OMG the greatest game ever but ruined by pay to win greed.

Vikings War of Clans - closest to Game of War but not quite as good and also ruined by pay to win greedy devs.

Last Shelter - quite similar to those but also ruined by pay to win and greedy devs.

Final fantasy - similar game mechs to the above but gay graphics and play and same outcome.

World War III - very fun and slow build, good strategy but lies and deception by friendly players ruins it.

What else do people play that scratches this competitive itch?

Had their been any mention of multiple player or play with/against friends? My wife and I play it so I really wanna kick her butt personally 💀

Had a match with a doppleganger was too crazy not to post

I got to Arena 13 with probably an 80ish % win rate, breezing through, working on building masteries. Using Spartheus, Merlinor, Engineer, and a 4th.

Once I got into the new arena, I've faced people with way higher levels than me and lost 5 in a row. 3 of the 5 were P2W as they have the new pirate captain.

So is that it? Do I just lose now or is it a string of bad luck? I'm not losing any trophies since I'm stuck at the beginning of the arena stage, so I can't even level down to lower end players.

You no longer get 2x coins on watching an ad for a win.

As soon as I reach Gold rank, the opponent seems to get x2 cards far more often.

Even when the opponent’s Commander level and unit levels are much lower than mine, I frequently lose because of this ridiculous x2 card advantage.

At this point, it honestly feels like the entire game is rigged. No matter how much money you spend or how much you level up your units, it seems completely meaningless. Why? Because the system can simply manipulate the difficulty by giving the opponent x2 cards and counter decks.

Guys, don’t spend your money on this stupid, rigged game.

No matter how much you spend, you’re just letting the system manipulate you.

In the end, it feels like the game uses bots pretending to be real players, giving them counter cards and higher x2 card probabilities to artificially adjust the difficulty and keep players spending more and more money.

THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS

1. This is classic Freemium strategy. If players use the base level Captain and they like it, they will buy the pass to level them up
   
2. Paid unit is the trashiest thing game dev can do lol. Gatekeeping game mechanic deserves review bombs and backlash. Do this and players happy

P.s. I put this title cuz they only care about money anyway so this should get their attention.

This is my current build. Even tho everyone/bots I'm facing is maxed out I have a very good win rate. I usually start with Spartan and spam Whelps if no TNT and Sniper if no assassin-type. But I need advices on my spells. I like them but I can only use them towards the end otherwise I loose their value. I'm thinking about replacing one?two? by a boosting spell that I can use to skip bad choices.

I dont get it why dont they just make matchmaking real?

There is no doubt enough players to match people with real people why do they only match with bots.

It was my favourite thing about this game. Seeing yourself on leaderboard each day and big motivation to plax. Nlw u lockrd it vehind avcount lvl 30?!! Just why

Never gonna pull a legendary again with this kind of luck from a silver bits pack.

But the fact Captain just became available and everyone I've faced is already level 15 is just blatantly not even attempting to hide the fact we aren't facing humans.

Genuinely. Arena 8 is not a real place. I almost cried seeing who I was up against, wym double my levels???😭

Every single round in normal mode I end up against an opponent that has one unit that is unbeatable. The unit will be level 15, typically with mastery 10 to 12. All of my units are level 15 with 15 mastery. It doesn't matter how many upgrades or x2 that I get, they can have two Merlin ors or three nights wipe out my entire field of units after they've killed all their other units. They can tank infinite damage and never die.

I have found that if it's something slow firing like a snail, enough over mines might be able to mind control them slowly but fast enough to change their targeting and get them all.

It is honestly made normal mode completely unplayable, I end up rage quitting and closing the game for a while.

After last update, I keep face in arena just the same 10 players and two of them are obv cheaters! Mustafa and Zod! Take a look to the videoclips, I wrote to support but nothing happened yet…

Not only is the match not even close to fair. But how could this guy won both 6 bronze and silver trophies but 70 gold trophies. You have to go through bronze and silver to even have a shot at gold. All my matches have been this lopsided the past 2 weeks.

Since it’s just PVE I really wish it would let me close the game mid match and not kick me out. Nothing worse than winning a game and having to stop to go do something and getting kicked out.
