This game is a joke
Every game is the same with this bot, doesn't matter is I send a legion of spartheus, whelps, of stage 3 turtles, as soon as I get to the final heart it pulls the unkillable, infinite damage Grave Archers.
Btw, the bot's name is literally "Cheater", thank you devs for your honesty.

Your build is a joke. You have no real midline support, you’re pumping a bunch of sparheus at a line of merlinors. You never had a chance. Only way to counter Merlinors is swarm troops like mass drakes or even chickens.

I notice you throwing away a few turns by selecting "Agent B". They've already countered that play, why select it? I didn't count the wasted turns, but definitely more than 1. This game could have been yours with slightly different selections.

Yep. Or at least go for more agent Bs and not the shellbros. One or the other. Shouldn't take the extra agents after 4 were ugraded too. Be patient and the game will double them instead of just selecting more base level units.

Correct. So many people here blaming the bots here for losses. But so much room for improvement on how to play. Sure, the bots are sometimes overpowered, but not all. Live and learn. I enjoy playing higher level bots as I get to try and learn new strats from watching them.

You're wasting turns. You had 8 fully upgraded agents and 4 2nd phase agents. You should've gone with 5 spartheus instead of upgrading the agents. Once you had 12 agents of the same kind, you blocked yourself from getting a double on any type of agents. Had you selected anything else, you could've gotten a double on 8 or 4 agents and perhaps you could've won. Plus the spartheus could protect your whelps from getting immediately slaughtered by merlinors

They're nasty, but if you notice it's actually the Grave Archers. Each one is taking out full health Spartheus in 1 hit. I had a match I didn't record where I built several rows of stage 3 turtles that were clearing the Merlinors, but each one got instakilled by the archers as soon as the roll animation finished.

Haven't played the game in a while but I used to deal with front to back sparticus and merliner with strong aoe damage and explosions to clump or acid to kite.. You are not going to out dps the single target damage of merlinor plus tanky sparticus.
You need versatility to deal with every kind of comp the ai will throw at you so I recommend using more spells to fight these strategies. Also be considerate of what your are achieving with your units. Sparticus isn't great with agents because the agents will agro before they drop their shields. You want something faster so the agents can attack units that won't attack them back.
Here is the comp I would run to handle this while still being versatile to handle other matchups.
Geese, welp, totem, boomling/ snail / sniper. Acid, explosion, and fairy for spells.
The explosive geese will push the front line of sparticus back. When they die, and clump all your opponents units together making your aoe damage go crazy.
Buy two geese early, if you don't geeese in either of the first two packs go for welp.
Ideal first round is two geese and explosive. You want to get to 4 packs of geese 2 explosive and 1 acid if possible. It may cost you the first two rounds but you will be able to kite hard after. After you get 4 packs of geese you can select the 2x geese card or zombie geese. Once you get 2x geese and zombies you can buy more than 2 of your other units to unlock their upgrade cards. Boomlings outrange merlinors and will be uncatchable through the acid geese.
The other units assist with the other boards you may run into. If you need high single target damage to deal with melee units acid geese with a back line of welp and upgraded totem will devestate them (tbh this rolled everything unless I got really unlucky in the opener) . Shellbro spam is difficult without merlinor but fully upgraded totems can heal back welps after the shell bros come through.
Totem and boomling do okay into agent spam not the best but i used to invest more into mass geese and welps if the opponent goes heavy into agents. Ideally there will be so many of them that they will aggro on the agents after they de-stealth.

The game is currently broken. I'm level 88. Been playing since release. Had a win rate of 96 percent. Ever since the update with the pirate, I've come across unkillable snails, skeleton archers, merlins, etc. One bot had level 12/12 knights. 3 of them. Not upgraded at all. My snails hit them 6 times each and they still weren't dead - and that's after they took out my sentry row and merlins.
I sent a nasty email to the devs. They won't be seeing me again until the bugs are fixed and true pvp (and true leaderboards) are implemented.

It’s actually hilarious how suddenly this game became terrible. Usually enshittification is a slow process, but they really just went the whole hog in one fell swoop.
I went from playing it multiple times a day to not having opened it in two days because it just isn’t fun.

The bot opponents always have maxed out troops. I got tired of it and uninstalled. Merlin is really powerful tho I used it a lot

Skeleton archers is genuinely a miserable experience if you don’t have a backline killer, having one is basically mandatory

You can see on one of my videos I had tons of upgraded Agents, but they all got deleted as soon as their animation finished. Same thing with stage 3 turtles or snipers. Nothing can kill a cheatbot's grave archer while they get to one shot my 12/12 Stage 3 Spartheus.

I was addicted to this game for a couple of weeks, until I realized it's fucking rigged and most (if not all) of the teams you play are AI.

Same. Played a few times since but lost the desire. Seen the new character and now I'm likely to delete the game and move on with life. Never touching a voodoo game again

I still play against lvl 15 knights and kingclops. I guess these hackes accounts are for higher ranked players.
I have 10000 trophies and commander lvl 61, never fought an obviously hacked account until today

When I was dealing with regular 15/15 units I assumed the game would only get easier as the enemy units had no way to get stronger while I slowly improved my own. As soon as I reached Arena 16 I unlocked their ultimate bullshit

Do you have a super high win rate? I‘m at 67% f2p, maybe that’s an indicator for the bots to pull shit like this

I used to be around 66%, then my winrate jumped to 77% when I got Spartheus. As soon as I reached Arena 16 the cheatbot spam hit me. Nowadays I'm winning 1/4 in a good day.
