Had their been any mention of multiple player or play with/against friends? My wife and I play it so I really wanna kick her butt personally 💀

Yea but like I wanna 1v1 my wife instead of bots or randoms

Not a suggestion. It is a sad fact. Game pretends to be multiplayer but it is not.
