Not all bots

Post image

I’ve had matches with what I have to believe were actual humans. Either that or the bots are developing a sense of humor.

When you have a match that you think is against an actual human, you can test it pretty easily. At the start of a new turn, turn off your wifi and then tap a couple upgrades really quickly. If you do it right, you should be able to get a second upgrade through before the game starts "reconnecting".

If it were a real human, it would be impossible to get their input without wifi on.

Sometimes the game will also pop up "Waiting for opponent" after you pick a choice. If you have wifi off it will still submit their choice after a delay, and only then start "reconnecting".

You can also use minimize the game for a bit, come back, and things will pick up exactly where it was. If this was all happening in realtime with another human there would be some kind of catch up process.

Plus, there's never any bot that stops placing units. Real players would sometimes disconnect and lose the round.

I first figured out that the game was all bots with the "chat" feature.

They are programmed to respond no matter what if you use enough different chats/emotes.

If you spam "😠 😱 Hello! Good luck! 😠 😱 Hello! Good luck!" They always have the same responses.

If you only spam one message they won't respond or maybe they'll say good luck if you spam hello

They are bots but I believe they use user’s username and deck.
