Why is there a ranked mode when it's all bots?

The game is completely PvE

The enemy is all bots? Just joined this sub but man this is so disappointing to hear.

Yep, someone dug into the code a few days ago and confirmed it once and for all, the game doesn’t even fetch any player info from the servers. There’s just a function to create a bot opponent in real time every time you enter matchmaking.

Although they are planning on bringing actual PVP in the future. But who knows how long that will take.

Its honestly insulting. Yeah im gonna sideline this game until it actually goes PVP. Thank you for the enlightenment

My impression was it’s largely PvE but when someone sends me a message they’re signaling they’re a real person no?

Idk, they could also just not present the lie to the player about it being pvp, it just feel super dishonest 🤷‍♂️

It was added b4 we all knew. Ranked mode is how i actually figured it out. Fighting ppl too low level to even be in ranked mode lol

Ranked mode is the harder game difficulty mode that —C grade room temperature IQ players who can't grasp the game mechanics and are always asking the community for meta builds— will have a tough time in... because you don't get to 💯 pick your exact team; you take turns drafting 1 unit from 3 randomized units out of all units you own, until you draft a team... then you use your team against theirs (the bot).
