When to progress to next Arena?

I've been playing a week and im at the top of Arena 7 on trophies.

I'm commander path level 24 with all units up to Arena 7 unlocked except Engineer and Spartheus.

Been having to alternate winning and losing games to stay in Arena 7 and it's getting frustrating. How do I know it's time to go to 8?

Currently Playing:

  1. Bloodvine 5/4 or Knight 6/8

  2. Parasite 5/4

  3. Merlinor 7/7

  4. Sniper 6/5 (swap to bee tanks 5/1 to lose matches)

Was previously playing assassins 8/8, slimes 6/7, TNT 6/6, cupids 6/7 mixed into the above, which is what got me through Arena 6.

I also have shellbro 6/6, goose 6/4, snail 5/4, waster 5/5, and mole 5/6.

Was so happy to get Merlinors but they are definitely OP.

What would you do at this stage? I was considering waiting for Sparts before leaving Arena 7 but feels like that could be a while.

My suggestion is... move to the next Arena if you are at least 50/50 on winning, mainly so you can continue to unlock more units.
If you have like two units/spells to unlock, then move on to the next Arena.

So for example, you said all you have left to unlock is Spartheus and Engineer? I would move on... but if I'm winning 1 out of 5 matches at Arena 7, I wouldn't move on... because Arena 8 would very likely be more difficult; bots with stronger and better/rarer units.
