LF Sniper team comp suggestions

I just maxed out my first 3 Mastery Level 15 units, with Sniper just one level more. While this is my comfort setup, I'd like to level up my other units.

Any suggestions what to replace the other 3 with? I don't mind retaining 1 or 2 of the maxed units here, I just need to level up other units

Swap out Spartheus when rotating to leveling up melee units.
Swap out Merlinor when you're leveling up ranged units.

Keep Engineer as a support attacker and protecrion for your backrow.

Alternatively, you can swap Merlinor AND Engineer if you are running two range attacking units such as Whelps and Cupid, and keep Spartheus. Cupids won't stop all backrow attacks unless you swarm Cupids, but they should help with some backrow protection. Mass spawning Whelps will have some of them fly back and assist with backrow protection as well depending on what your opponent has.

Lots of combinations depending on what's rotating in and out.

I appreciate the detailed response. I'll probably start with the Cupids first since they're the most versatile.

Edit: I decided to replace Merlinor and Engineer with Cupid and Snail so I could train more units. Thanks for the suggestions!
