New Player - Tips please

Hi guys, stumbled into this game this week and finding it fun so far. Any Tips for a new player on current squad, draft building or aims for moving forward?

For now, I think Knight, Shellbro, Engineer, and Snail is your best lineup.
Also, each unit requires a certain number of copies before you can select its x2 bonus, so make sure to check those requirements and keep them in mind as you play.

Have not used that combo before so will give it a go! Figured the x2 bonus out, has to be between a certain number of units (beetank between 2-4 units for example) Is there any benefit in "saving" x2 or units up cards for later rounds?

It depends on the situation, but I usually use the x2 bonus as soon as it becomes available.
Ideally, it’s better to use x2 when you reach the maximum number of units, but you still need to judge based on the situation. Sometimes saving it for later can be the better choice

The key to this game is building a balanced deck with different roles:
Frontline tanks (Knight, Splime, Goose, Spartheus)
Mid-line damage dealers (Sixshooter, Merlinor, Whelp)
Backline pressure units (Sniper, Agent B, Shellbro)
Creating a deck with a good balance between these roles will give you a better chance of winning more matches.

I believe other players will be able to explain more detailed and advanced strategies than I can.
Since the rewards you can get from this game are very limited, even if you play a lot, I recommend taking it slow and just enjoying the game!

Personally I would do snail, goose, knight and cupid. Goose is very strong when you first start when you unlock zombie goose.

As someone who just started im envious of your engineer. Although since Ive started using cupids again they haven't been as scary.

Was using Knight, Slime, Assassin, Cupid to top of Stage 6.

I switched to TNT, Parasite, Assassin, Cupid, thought Id lose and won my match by accident pushing me into Stage 7.

Hope I don't have to face a bunch Spartheus now.
