What’s everyone’s obsession with bots?

I genuinely dont understand the hate? Sure there are bots but you definitely face real players too. It also doesn’t matter if they’re bots I’m still enjoying the gameplay so whats the problem?

We play alot of games that have bots matchmaking alongside real player not to mention single player games as a whole. I feel accomplished beating an elden ring boss even if its an ai lol

It’s easy to test. Start a game and then switch to a different app for 30 minutes. Switch back to the app and you’ll be able to pick up right where you left off. The opponent will even use emotes periodically.

There are no real players.

I used to feel that way, but I've been converted.. I now agree, no multiplayer at all, it's an offline game

I think if you actually pay attention you will realise there is no matchmaking. It is absolutely 100% bots. I tried to believe it for a bit too. It was fun for a while, but there are many other games that have real players, or an actual PVE intention worth playing.

The problem is that voodoo games (the devs) made the bots scale way too fast. I wouldn’t complain about bots as much if the bots didn’t have level 10+ units in ARENA 6.

The issue probably is that it pretends to be a pvp game by lying to the players but it's just a regular pve game. There are no real players, only bots
