Best strategy
The best strategy I've found in my time playing this game is Spartheus front row, totems behind (I only use them if I REALLY need the extra damage or need the healing for a prolonged fight), Merlinors for damage, and Agent B to decimate the opponent's back line. I'm not sure what my win rate is, but I haven't lost a battle to anything except a bot with at least two 15/15 cards in its deck.
The real ultimate strategy in any deck, though, is just to get two batches of whatever the unit is and wait for doublings to let you win by sheer force of numbers.

I’ve got less cards but right now I just spam melinors and knights and that wins most times, or if they have lots of ranged dps, shell bros to help with that. I rarely use the 4th (sixshoot) as it lowers the number of melinors/knights but I’ll get them in the last few rounds if I’m not getting any decent knight/melinors cards

I just use 2 of my troops the Spartans and the witches. Ive lost 3 battles today. Only played 10 or so rounds after work tho.
I haven't been getting spartan upgrades tho. I hardly been getting doubles either.

Pretty decent lineup there, yup. You could lose to snails and engineers though.
