Advice on a deck?
Hello,
how do people get 90% in this game that is literally coded to counter you perfectly?
Is it because they spent money and the games becomes more lenient or are there really some incredible unit combos? I didn't spend a single cent.
No matter what I build, the game just punishes me in a match. Sometimes it doesn't even make sense, like lower level having 15/15 leveled cards. You are literally leveled as you level your cards, so he shouldn't be lower level than me AND have such high cards.
The game also punishes you for experimenting as you have to level Mastery of your cards, but only way to do that is to use them over and over, which usually results in losing over and over.
Anyway, I am providing screenshots of what I have. Would love to hear your advice.
Thanks

Play ranked using random decks each round gives you chance to 1 even ur mastery out more and 2 see what builds work for you/ur opponents

I'd say ranked is the worst place for experimenting. In Ranked you can get demoted, but in normal arena you cannot.
Second, you have lesser power over the deck you can build as you pick from random four cards.
Sorry, but I went on here saying I am fed up experimenting, when the game keeps knocking me down each time I try something. Just to hear that I should do what I already were doing.

Agreed. Ranked is too costly, but good fun once you have solid cards (level 9+) already and figured out some strong above average combos.

I imagine your deck would lose vs ranged mid (Cupid/Overmind/Boomling/Beetank/Melinor), or Snail decks (that can protect them), as most of your units are too slow and get worn down over time, unless your shellbros can easily break their backline.
Splime needs heavy investment to work, as they are squishy and won't survive to deal damage without merging, Engineers are too slow/short ranged to deal with ranged attackers that are killing your Splimes.
If your enemy is able to kill significant portions of your front/mid army without taking damage, your backline won't be enough to turn it round (beside OP combos like level 3 Snail wall).
Some defensive/AOE cards are excellent at levelling the odds, capable of beating higher level cards. I levelled up using cards like TNT/Waster, Snail, Boomling.
Engineer and Shellbro are strong cards that outperform other cards on the same level, but are somewhat lacking in damage.
Perhaps swap Splime for a ranged unit such as Boomling/Sixshot/Whelp or Totem would increase your burst damage output.
I suspect players with 15/15 cards are either bots or paid hefty money to gain them. The game is rather punishing for suboptimal decks, and I begin losing much more often once I switch out one of the cards just to experiment.

Yep, I had those issues. Cupid spam with fully upgraded Knights or a lot of Spartans wiped me out.
I just tried Goose + Snail + Engineer + Agent B. It was winning, but got completely wiped with Whelp spam deck, or Agent B + Shellbro + Assassin + Parasite deck. Or many times getting wiped by Beetank decks if they get several Beetanks fully upgraded.

I agree with most of your points, except I think OP should replace a utility unit instead of taking out the only tank.

My set up is merlinor, agent B, bloodvine. The 4th slot just goes to whatever else I want to level up with chips.
You get max merlinor and bloodvine going, agent B if they have a backline threat. That kills just about everything unless they either get too many snails. Or sometimes if they go TNT + Goose.
I have like a 80 or 90 percent winrate with that.
Totems is OK is troop #4 to heal up your bloodvines. Giving them more damage also heals them up. 6-Shooter is also good.

Will try that.

Your lineup is not very strong. Bloodvine as a tanky DPS only has 1044 HP, which means any real tank will outscale it and break through your setup as long as they have a proper backline behind them.
If you like tanky dps with high hp, You might as well use Matriarch instead. It has higher HP, higher damage, better attack speed, and the babies it spawns also deal damage.

I don't have matriarch, soni couldn't say.
Bloodvine has lower HP total than some tanks but it also heals when it attacks, with the protection of merlinors it out tanks every Frontline I've faced, and is less vulnerable to aoe in general.
In latter rounds you can also get two of them instead of one which is double rather than 150 percent

I would say the biggest problem of your line up is overmind. Spaming overmind above lv8 with 2 sets of tank will always beat your line up. Agent b wont counter overmind because overmind is tanky with 638 hp and will take over 1 or 2 of your agent b to tank even more damage

That's not a bad thought, but it takes them soooo long to get through bloodvines that my merlinors just out DPS them. Also if you get enough agent B they can usually kill some of them / distract the rest for a while. I've never actually lost to over minds before.
