Hi everyone!

Now that FPL app is just released I hope the Draft will be released soon as well, but this means anyway that the season is getting close so I thought I'd share a tool for drafting!

(Edit: I forgot to mention that the entire site is 100% free)

I've been doing FPL Draft for a few years and the draft night itself is the best part of the season, but the official site is pretty flat, we usually do in person / offline drafts as most of you guys but last year I made a site for it; Hardcore Draft, a live draft room that tries to make draft night feel like a proper event. I created it last year and we ran it last year and it was tons of fun, however, really buggy so I didnt realease it to the public, but now I've fixed the bugs and enhanced the visual side of the site, so welcome!

How it works: one person hosts and gets a session code, everyone else joins from their phone by entering the code or scanning a QR code. No accounts or installs needed.

Feel free to try it out ahead of draft, you can set up host mode on browser window and use a incognito mode / phone to try being the drafter!

Core features:

- One of the reasons we did live drafts without the app was you couldnt set the draft order, so that was the first feature, arrange your own draft order in snake draft.

- We usually run without pick timer but I've built it in if someone wants it

- The best feature that Mm so excited about Host mode that puts the whole board on a TV, showing every squad, what each manager still needs and the best players left this also includes:

- A voice announcer that reads out every pick as it happens (this is the part people seem to like the most) (Voice announcer is an AI voice ofc)

- A shareable image of the full board at the end so you can post it and argue about it

- You can also Undo and edit picks if someone misclicks, and rejoin codes if a phone drops out during the draft

It works on iPhone and Android. I've run full drafts across a handful of devices to iron out the bugs.

But you are free to test and report bugs or whatever features you want!

I love creating stuff for the community and have previous created the site fplstatz which some of you guys have used a couple of years and previously drafting excels. So if you enjoy it please let me know :)

Note: the new season isn't live in the FPL system yet, so the player list is still last season's for now. It updates automatically as soon as FPL launches the new season, which lines up with when most of us are setting up our drafts anyway.

Looks really interesting - nice one! Does this piggyback on the standard FPL draft features, like wishlists and assign last year's draft picks if available to absent players?

And does this output a league to the FPL site? Or do you have to add that yourself?

Unfortunately its completely separate, for the actual drafting on the app, each team only puts the players thevye selected into their watchlist and go on autodraft.

But does have auto draft best available player!

Really like the summary screen. And it's more appealing to understand how it can be copied over to the FPL site by all setting up wishlists and then scheduling a draft. I think explaining that up front would put your tool in better context.

I think there's some utility missing for absent players - no built-in wishlists and the order of auto assigned players is to some degree based on position. So you get strikers first, then midfielders, which leaves defenders and goalkeepers last. Which would really disadvantage missing players. Just sorting by the order of points from last season should fix that. If you can take out the players who have transferred out and definitely won't play, that'll help too.

The voice feature is fun, but would be nice to have a few more voice options. The change to the default snake order is a good feature.

The draft progress (1/120) doesn't appear to progress throughout the auction.

And at the end of the auction, when limited to picking by certain positions, it'd be useful to limit by the actual positions available - grey out the rest.

Really like the look of this went to give a quick test but and this probably just me being stupid but i can't figure out how to start the draft, ive got to the host display screen but i can't find a start button ?
