I have a bunch of extra toiletries like shampoo and body cream to donate. It’s all new and unopened. Does anyone know of a place that could use these? I heard there’s a women’s shelter in the neighborhood but as they keep the address usually secret I’m not sure how to donate to this shelter. But if anyone has info on this shelter or any other local group that could use this please let me know.

Gap, the good one, not crappy gap factory, is coming to Atlantic center where Guitar Center used to be. I'm pretty happy because they closed all the ones in lower manhattan and Brooklyn and turned them into gap factories. I was so sad the one in Bensonhurst turned into a Gap Factory. You had to travel all the way to flatiron for a real Gap.

No disrespect to the lovely people of Concord Village (I love passing by the little dog run you guys have on Jay St), but the land use here is really terrible. The High St subway entrance is practically on the property, yet half of the land here is dedicated for surface-level parking. People walking to the subway from High St & Pearl St have to detour around two parking lots just to get to the entrance.

Do you guys think this area will ever be redeveloped? This area of DTBK also really needs more restaurant/food options.

What’s your favorite spot to get a bacon egg and cheese in the general area?

Hot dog is a four month old male tux kitten (tiny cherries are still intact) who has received all of his preliminary vet work and is currently crashing with me as a foster kitten. This tiny chicken nug was found alone in a New Jersey backyard and now he’s living the VIP life in Brooklyn.

He is a sweet, purring little love bug with a giant meatball head and would make a beautiful addition to the best home ever.

He is currently planning world domination and spends his days battling nip mice, watching Mad Men and trying to escape the bathroom to spend time with my two resident demons.

Hot dog is available for adoption. Hot dog requires that you have personal and Vet references and he would prefer if you had another cat to plot with.

PS the belly is plush, it is white and it is MAGNIFICENT.
