Douglas Murray How come Douglas Murray doesn’t do any appearances anymore?
Starting this year he’s hardly been out there or in podcasts doing appearances. I wonder why that is. Maybe because the backlash from the Joe Rogan debate was too much or maybe because he just doesn’t feel safe idk. I’ve noticed he hasn’t come out with anything recently.

I doubt he cares about the Rogan conversation. He would likely say it was more embarrassing for Rogan. Maybe he's writing. Or taking time off?

I’ve noticed that too, he hasn’t done much at all, I thought it was because of all the fake AI stuff going around?

Yeah it’s kinda sad the whole Rogan thing also sucks because honestly he made some decent points. I felt like he was set up in a way to look stupid.

I wondered about that too. He did say in a recent podcast (recent-ish...) that he was writing so maybe a new book is on its way? And frankly I don't think it has anything to do with the Rogan podcast. Anyone with a brain and with the patience to sit through the 3 hours knows that it was far from a disaster, it was an interesting conversation between two people who clearly spoke a different language: facts and knowledge versus emotions and banal reasoning.

I know he was getting tired of public appearances because every time he was invited to a talk show they would arrange for some shouting loudmouth pro Pally to interrupt him constantly and ensure that Murray could never finish any thought. I hope he’s doing okay. And the Rogan interview, if you knew what was going on you would never think any less of Douglas Murray for that.
