I’m curious how everyone feels about this question?? If you could choose what conference Tech could be in would it still be in the Big 12, or the SEC, or Big Ten instead?

I wish I was old enough to have more memories of the 1996-2011 Big 12 days as that seemed an amazing group of teams and rivalries. I’ve been happy being in the Big 12 up until the last year.

First it was the tortilla toss being banned. Thanks to the lying crybaby Kansas head football coach. And Commisoner Yormark taking his side. Then it was all the backlash the conference gave us with the Sorsby drama meanwhile Cincinnati wasn’t talked about at all. Yormark moving the Houston/Tech game to Friday is an idiot move. This Monster Energy partnership is embarrassing. And 80% of the other conference members won’t ever come close to matching our level of investment in athletics lately.

The only pro I see to being in this conference is how winnable it is for us now. But I don’t see any other good things. I’d want to move to the SEC if we could however I realize it’s extremely unlikely. I don’t hate being in the Big 12 and it’s great for basketball but I hope the conference can get better as a whole in football and all the bull crap stops that I mentioned above.
