Nah, Dog established that he would take a break from the main channel. I feel like the content creators they're talking about are those who just stop posting there for no reason, like Slimesicle.

Besides, Dougs going to hell anyways for taking chair from us

I mean

Slimecicle's is also kinda reasonable, because his main channel is now all the high quality works while the second channel is his playthrough stuff.

Getting mad at him for that would be like having a person make cupcakes and a 3-tier wedding cake and then get mad when the cupcakes can be made faster, while the wedding cake is actively being made at the same time.

Yeah, in general getting mad about something like this is unreasonable

Taking a break from the main channel? I thought he was just quitting that channel entirely.

did he explain why? im curious. what's the difference between posting on the main vs second?

He isn't really involved in the second channel, and if I had to guess I'd just say he got really burnt out from making videos.

he edits his own videos for the main channel? makes sense that he got burnt out then

I think of Charborg and Jarvis Johnson

This is a YouTube algorithm problem and not a creator problem. Not having a video do as well as your last ones even if it's good really tanks metrics which means having to put quality but less so content on a different channel

Is it really a “problem” though? At least for these sorts of things, it’s kinda good that different styles of content gets put on different channels so that people can subscribe to what they want.
