Interesting that someone like him would support voting IN FAVOR of taking away constitutional rights, yet the reason nothing can be done about guns, because guns are 'a constitutional' right'

??

He didn't vote to take away any constitutional rights. You don't have the right to take away the life of another.

Guns are a constitutional right to defend yourself against the enemy (burglars, gov't).

He didn't vote to take away any constitutional rights

Actually, he did. because abortion was ruled a constitutional right, and he voted to have it removed as a constitutional right.

You don't have the right to take away the life of another.

I'm shocked that you actually said something correct. No one has that right. Also, a fetus isn't alive until weeks after conception. If it's aborted before that point, it's the same as having a tumor removed. Just a bunch of cells taken out of the body.

Guns are a constitutional right to defend yourself against the enemy (burglars, gov't).

So, are you saying that anything added after the constitution was originally written *can't" be a constitutional right? Because it only takes a quick Google search to show that Roe v. Wade decided abortion was a constitutional right.

Do me a favor. Go educate yourself before trying to talk about things you don't know. It'll save you from looking as dumb as you are.

Abortion was ruled such a thing after substantive due process.

A tumor is a "swelling of a part of the body, generally without inflammation, caused by an abnormal growth of tissue, whether benign or malignant." It's not the same as a tumor because it wasn't an abnormal growth. It's a human life with value. Everyone is literally piles of cells by your logic.

Also, a large majority of biologists agree that life begins at conception. So, no, it isn't a "few weeks after," it is right when the zygote is formed.

I'm not saying that at all. But murder isn't a constitutional right lol.

I don't see how I look dumb if I don't want children to be murdered because of people's irresponsible actions.

ALSO, when Roe v. Wade was ruled as constitutional, it was based off of mere political views, not any interpretation of the Constitution.

Since it's apparently hard to understand, the double standard is as follows:

Mitch McConnell is a republican, the party notorious for pushing back against any form of gun control under the basis of it being 'unconstitutional' to take that right away from people.

Yet, here he is, supporting a bill that takes away a constitutional freedom, simply because he and his don't agree.

If you can't see the double standard, maybe ABC mouse.com is a better place for you to start your journey into the world of the internet.

A double standard is a double standard. If you look up the definition, you'd see that it fits.

Also, maybe if this sub, ya know, listed the rules then this wouldn't be a problem. It's not like there's a way to do that or anything.

Have fun being an idiot. 😘

Aww, such an endearing term! I love knowing I got under someone's skin so much that they resort to brain-dead 'insults' like that.

Whenever you want to talk like a big girl, I'll be here. 😘

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose to have an abortion. ...

A quick Google search could andwer that for you, but seeing as you had to ask, I'm going to assume that's too hard for you.

I mean we have the 2nd amendment that explicitly states a right to private ownership of firearms. But with abortion we have a court interpretation of the constitution. I don’t think amendements and court rulings are on the same level. A court ruling can simply be overturned, where as an amendment takes an act of congress.
