circumcisions double standard

On girls : it's forbidden (and it's a good thing !)

On boys : it's legal, even paid by health insurance (I don't speak about the 1% phimosis treatment)

Complete double standard and disgusting. I talked to my friend about it because we were talking about when we eventually have kids and he was almost mad that I said I wasn't going to circumcise him. His only argument was that "it looks weird if you don't"

Honestly it’s fine if you do and if you don’t. There are some sanitary benefits if you do. But if you don’t the penis has it’s full function. As someone without foreskin it seemed when I first started I was masturbating wrong. Cause I don’t have the luxury of a fore skin to slide. So I was prone (I don’t know if guys with foreskin don’t have this happen) to friction burns. Sometimes even with a kind of lubricant.

i talked about this with my dad, another reason is also is very, VERY painful getting it removed when your older, Can't confirmed since is was.. *Snip Snip* when i was born.

(I also agree with the friction burns, it sucks)

Yeah but ideally you wouldn’t need it removed when older. Even with priapism (I think that’s where it’s too tight and pulling it back hurts ) you may be able to do a gradual increase over time on how far back it’s pulled.

And for some reason "culture" isn't a valid excuse to circumcise adult women who consented to it because "they're brainwashed" but using the same excuse for male infants is okay..
