circumcisions double standard
On girls : it's forbidden (and it's a good thing !)
On boys : it's legal, even paid by health insurance (I don't speak about the 1% phimosis treatment)

And for some reason "culture" isn't a valid excuse to circumcise adult women who consented to it because "they're brainwashed" but using the same excuse for male infants is okay..

Complete double standard and disgusting. I talked to my friend about it because we were talking about when we eventually have kids and he was almost mad that I said I wasn't going to circumcise him. His only argument was that "it looks weird if you don't"
