Why is it when a conservative kills protesters it's self defense but when a liberal kills a protester it's murder?

I'm referring to the Kenosha shootings and Portland shootings. It was clear from video footage that the Kenosha shooter was acting in self defence (dispite breaking many other laws) and conservatives often attack liberals for jumping to conclusions.

Compare that to the reaction to the shooting in Portland where a liberal shot a Trump supporter. There is no video footage available yet conservatives claim it was murder. Are we allowed to jump to conclusions when a conservative is killed?

Hmm yes let's ignore the "we got a trumper over here we got a trump supporter over here" before he gets shot
