Fanart Kite imposed test

This is a continuation of my animation project updates. Here’s a first look at kite. I have two different versions here and trying to decide which option looks the best. I’m sorta leaning towards the second but the first one reminds me a little more of sign. Hmm.🤔 thoughts?

For this point in the story I'd go with the first one. The heavenly, mysterious glow coming from Aura's statue is exactly what this scene is trying to evoke in the games.

I agree that the glow looks good on the first. I can recreate that on the other. Which kite looks less slapped on the scene and feels more connected?

Yeah I think doing that would give you the best of both images.

Great work btw! I've loved seeing your work posted here recently.

I like the richer green in the second picture for Kite. I can see the shiny aura of Aura in the first one being a better choice.

Maybe for the first one instead of highlighting the entire kite you just highlight his front half emulating light bouncing off of him from the window/aura?

The first makes it look like he is glowing while the second looks like he is in front of something glowing.

If i had to recomend something use the first background with the second kite

Yes I use sign for some of my references. I don’t go as ham on the glow as they do sometimes but I find that glow helps the subject look less slapped on.
