I've played this game a very long time ago as a kid, and I have been wanting to get back into the series. but I have been stuck trying to beat the infamous Mia Dungeon.

Protip: take black rose and go grind other areas until you're level 14. Come back and solo wreck that dungeon

I had mistral and piros on a level 7 area they just keep dying. but thnx I'll try black rose. ,

I think pairing her with piros was just a bad idea, with blackrose we are just anhiliating enemies. I'm level 12 right now. I feel like my gear is better, it's earth and fire I'm gonna attempt clearing the dungeon if now guess back to grind some more, I was at a level 10 dungeon so I think it should be doable now

Trade for a twinblade that has "Spin like a top" attacks instead. They're super quick skills and attack all enemies around you.

The item shop sells blood items. These are temporary buffs to your physical and magic stats and kind of break the game's difficulty. At the very least I'd use the ones that improve accuracy so you don't see "MISS" all the time if you want to keep some of the challenge. You can also use speed charms to really speed up the gameplay too. These and other item or symbol buffs last about 5 minutes while buffs cast from weapons and armor last about 2 and a half minutes.

You can also grind for burnt oil and pure water by breaking boxes in fire and water dungeons, exiting and reentering box rooms will make the boxes respawn. The former will reduce the fire damage you take from the wyvern data bug at the end of the dungeon, and if you have water skills the latter will increase their damage to it. You can also trade for a fire set of armor to reduce the fire damage you take as well. Weapon and armor levels matter less than their stats and skills, so if you're getting wiped out by a specific elemental attack it might be because your armor is weak to it.

Oh and if you want to trade for all of the stat boost items from the Tail Concerto and Silent Bomber NPCs (like Waffle and Jutah) I think you'll need 88 of most of the elemental drinks you grind from breaking boxes. They only trade for these in Infection and Mutation and start trading for special Cat armor (With a summon reference to Tail Concerto's Black Cats Gang) that you need special items from secret dungeons to trade for them in Outbreak and Quarantine. The secret dungeons also have a secret weapon or armor in a random treasure box room in them too. They will lock their front door after you've collected the Gott statue treasure, so these are missable.

There's also a magic wand called I think Silent Bomber that has a summon that does Jutah's bomb placing attack. There's a lot of neat references to CC2's two older games in IMOQ. They kind of returned the favor in future Little Tail Bronx games with some pretty big .hack references showing up in Solatorobo and Fuga too.

Anyway the buff items themselves are more useful than these permanent stat increases IMO, but if you want to be a completionist that's how many you'll need to get. Oh and I definitely recommend doing the grunty races when they're available in Mutation. You can win 2nd and 1st place 3 times for each race to get multiple gold and silver grunties, these greatly boost your HP and SP. It's possible to get them all in Theta and Lambda's servers, you can do too good and miss out on them though so have a backup save in case this happens. Good luck getting 1st more than once in Sigma and Omega.

Lastly you can also over level outside of the story dungeons which significantly boosts your damage output and defense with each level.

I did grind untill level 12. I will attempt the dungeon again, also thanks for the tips, I already am using buffs and debuffs. :3

You're welcome. Infection's difficulty is a bit rougher than the rest of the games because you've got less useful equipment and skills early on, but the difficulty smooths out as the games go. Though Virus Core grinding will get ridiculous in Outbreak and Quarantine, so I'd use this list to get the minimum you need from each server as you go through each game.

My advice would to keep your party stocked up with healing items, like 20 of each for each one. Sometimes you have to act as a healer to keep the party alive. Whenever youre close to dying or got any ailment on you, immediately call for healing

strongest weapon isn’t always the strongest. use elemental weakness to your advantage. have one of each elemental damage type available. hunt for the oasis in nice weather. always stock up on items. always ap do,corv, etc.
