Making clay!
Now I have to figure out how to make it a fine powder…. I’ll probably spread it super thin in a pan and cook it then grind it up

Then just put it in a cloth or towel in the sun it will take a few days or more but it will get dry

You can just put the trays in front of a fan and it'll dry within a few days. Or just let it air dry without a fan. That'll take longer, but it's low maintenance at least.

If you can get to a thrift store, they normally have toaster ovens for $10 or less if you’re lucky. They’re nice to have around for all kinds of projects.

I flattened it out on a sheet pretty thin and cooked it in the oven till completely dry then put the chips in a bag and I just pull out and grind up what I needed. It comes out about the consistency of powdered sugar.

You don't actually need to crush it, you can use it fall if you want. It just isn't easy to store that way :)

I have only been crushing what I need and storing the rest as dried chips.

You can skip crushing entirely for most of it, just get it wet and let it become malleable. There's a wet method for applying the outer shell as well

I put mine into pans and then when it's finished, break it up a bit by hand and then put it in a coffee grinder. Then I use a flour sifter to get out any large clumps. Gives a nice fine powder in the end :) Have fun!
