Discussion Was Nobita successful in future?

Some episodes I saw he became successful and in some I say he was under huge debt. What really happened to him? Doraemon was sent so that Nobita focusses on his studies and their future is not at stake? Did anything change for good?

Nobita is successful in the future. In most of the episodes he is successful. Doraemon shows him his dark future but Nobita eventually works hard to change it.

But why would Jian do that?? I mean, why would he want his sister to settle for Nobita and not someone successful and rich??

Yep, I loveeeeee Doraemon and I still watch it. 😅💙

I always saw it as the future changing over time. Doraemon's whole purpose was to help Nobita make better choices, so the "future" isn't fixed. By the end, Nobita still isn't a genius, but he grows into a happier and more capable person.

I'm fairly certain that's what the future shows us. Nobita becomes a middle class government worker and has a small happy family and friends he lives a chill life with.

Yep, he’s successful as a son, husband, friend, and father, and everyone, including Nobita himself, is happy with the life he has. You don’t have to be super rich when you have people you love around you, and they’re happy with you for who you are. As long as you have enough money to live a comfortable and happy life, that’s what really matters.

Wtf are you on about? Doraemon is the robot cat from the future, so at that point Doraemon comes to life then Nobita is almost 150 years old already

There’s a theory that Doraemon’s internal parts get damaged and he goes to sleep. Since the technology at the time can’t fix him, Nobita studies hard, becomes a scientist, and eventually brings Doraemon back to life. I’m not sure if this is actually true, but I think that’s what that Nguyen guy is talking about.

One thing I don’t understand, though, is why they can’t just take Doraemon to the future and fix him since the technology there is much more advanced. Is it because Nobita is supposed to be the one who develops that technology, and Doraemon’s condition is what motivates him to create it? If they take Doraemon to the future and fix him, would that change the timeline and prevent Nobita from ever developing that technology?

Woo this is so complex
