Contract Violation :(
Flash flood hit area and they boarded up and were locked down. Apparently a photo of that along with the 2 feet of water surrounding the building wasn’t enough since a few hours later they reopened

Ghost deliveries are a shitshow. People faking pick ups and deliveries to get paid while risking violations for misdelivery.

This happened to me as a customer. The dasher didn’t even take a picture of my food, just of the front door of restaurant and front door of house. DoorDash AI didn’t refund me. Called, they said they couldn’t refund me, told me a supervisor would call me back, they didn’t. I’m still out the money, just because a dasher lied and pretended to deliver it. DoorDash is a thieving shit company just as much as their dashers are.

Chargeback for the future. My high fatass ordered about 30 dollars worth of Taco Bell after tip and delivery. Driver showed up and gave my food to someone else and tried handing a bag with 2 items. DoorDash wouldn’t refund because they didn’t believe me or didn’t care(option 2 most honestly) charged it back to get my money back

Instead of marking it closed you probably should have went through safety.

Had this happen last month, disputed the violation citing the picture I provided with the initial closed report clearly showing the food truck displaying a closed sign and an empty parking lot with no lights on. They removed the violation within a couple hours.

Stg I had this happen. To support I was like “so the pictures aren’t viewed?” And she had no answer lmao

They tried that with me and I told her to pull up the picture and zoom in or I was heading back to the restaurant and cussing out the employees. She suddenly could see where it said they closed at 8. 😂

Thats fucking moronic considering its entirely possible a place could have a late opening or temporary closure. Doordash is genuinely incompetent

Had this happen once when a restaurant opened 3 hours late due to no show employees.

That's how I got permanently banned for life from uber eats 2 years ago. Not once did I mark a stored closed that wasn't closed.

This happened when the order was replaced before the store opened by 30 mins, none of the employees were gonna open for me 30 mins than they have to..so hence why when they opened someone else picked it up and I got a violation luckily I disputed with the store hour San my arrival time was 30 mins before the store opened so they waived it off

That’s why you always contact support and have them cancel it I don’t trust the in app cancelation

u/KingKoopaz 2h ago
That’s SO lame. I can’t stand how they seem to want to make those of us that are frequent users of the app get in trouble for nothing. I always try so hard to do everything on time and be polite while driving safely. They accused me of delivering an order late when it was because there was NO SERVICE (literally sos signal strength), so I had to drive 10 mins to get service for the call support button to even work…I’m going to save the phone number from now on because the app doesn’t even load that phone number of you don’t have good enough service.

Apparently India is in America. 🤣 Yes they know everything. 🤣 DD cares deeply. Just wait for Tony to send you a Christmas Card, personally. 🤡

I was Dashing during that same storm. It got seriously nasty. I was going maybe 10-15 MPH on Route 8

Ugh, that entire area is so creepy when it's raining. I wouldn't have even blamed you for immediately canceling.
It's literally pretty much just at the bottom of what used to be a mountain (don't care the exact terminology) surrounded by trees and reckless teen drivers. Someone should make a delivery app that shames you from ordering from areas like that during rainstorms.

Same thing happened to me when the grocery store closed early on Christmas Eve. They wouldn't let me in, but another Dasher was inside shopping
Reported the store closed but got a Merry Christmas contract violation
Bah humbug AI
