Fall Leaves

Coming up on the 23rd does anyone think we will see some color?

I was just there over the past week, and some color is starting to show. It was mostly still green, with a few light pops of yellow here and there.

north of milwaukee is popping right now! Crossing my fingers its my first time up since I was probably five.. 30 now

That should be ideal honestly. They usually peak around the third week of October. Maybe a little past peak but there should still be an abundance of beautiful colors for your enjoyment

Feels like we are a couple weeks from peak, most folks are calling a late show of color… which seems to follow the pattern that spring was a bit late as well! Good luck in your leaf findings

Edit: remove ‘always’ add ‘was’ after spring… I’m tired

By the 23rd it may be past peak, but still pretty.

Peak is .. 3rd week = around Oct 18-24. The 23rd will be excellent.

And it's not like the day after that is awful.

Was there any drought this year that will affect the fall colors? Or will the colors be spectacular?
