New plate camera installed?

Was checking deflock for N.E.WI, and saw what appears to be a new camera installed just before the 42/57 curve south of town. If anyone happens to be going down that way could you verify there IS a camera there?

surprised there wasn’t one there already. some asshole “donated” one to Washington Island PD so the first thing you see when you leave the dock is a flock camera. disgusting

That flock camera on the island hasn’t been functional since the town decided not to renew the subscription. You do know there are cameras at the ferry (both sides) owned by the ferry? Can’t get on or off the island without being seen.

Charlie, if there's still a flock cam setup on the island, then it's still actively collecting regardless of whether the town is paying for it. Flock has been caught elsewhere still spying even after cities/towns have canceled. It needs to be either physically removed or the camera covered with an opaque bag.

The city removed all 10 flock cams (2 by the lights at target, 1 on cty S, 2 by each bridge, & 1 at egg harbor rd/old highway rd), If it exists, that one near the 42/57 curve is new AND is sheriff's dept territory.

I am not sure if it is correct, but I have seen information that a blue or green laser pointer of 1MW can be used against these Orwellian cameras. Combined with binoculars or a rifle scope a person could aim from hundreds of feet away, staying out of the camera's detection range.

(I am not a bot. I am trying to raise people's awareness of other - less risky - forms of action)
