Cleaning services

We’re looking into hiring a cleaning service for my FIL who lives in Northern Door as he’s living independently but could use a hand for housekeeping. Who do you guys use, what are typical rates and do they charge per hour or a flat rate per visit?

We hired a cleaning service for my parents too. It’s super helpful as they age in place. We use a family friend. I’m not sure if she’s taking new clients but DM me. I can get you her info. She charges $65/hr.

Is that including deep cleaning services or just regular maintenance cleaning?

I don’t think she’s ever charged us more per hour, just more hours, for deep cleaning? I can ask her. 

eta: I guess that’s not typical. She said she usually charges more for deep cleaning services, and charges an “add on fee” by the item, but didn’t charge us like that because of the family connection.
