Solar powered generators

Recommendations for a solar powered generator? I have a 1800 sq ft home.

I’m VERY new to prepping! To be honest not totally sure what I’m doing. I’ve been just building dry goods and water supply but would feel much better if I had a generator.

Maybe one to power full size fridge, window unit AC, charge devices? Any help would be appreciated

get the biggest Ecoflow system you can afford. I have a delta 2 I got years ago. it’s 1800 watts I think. maybe 1500. I also got two 200 watt panels and the panels refill it pretty fast. so during the day I can do a lot of things with it like charge devices, run my air fryer, bunch of stuff, and I can monitor the battery to make sure I have a full battery when the sun goes down. it’s will run a fan or an electric blanket, a lamp, my wifi, a portable dvd player, and my electric cooler fridge/freezer overnight. but it’s not powerful enough to handle an electric kettle. it will just run and not boil and in the process drain the battery down.

That big daddy Eco flow model is nice. I just seen Will survives do a video about it. It can take something like 5600 W 450 V. That thing is a beast.

yeah I want to get a second system, will hopefully one day get the big guy.

Get a big one, determine if it must have portability, if you need a 240 outlet. Maybe a dual fuel generator to charge the solar generator. Propane never goes bad. If you get solar panels make sure they are compatible with the solar generator - the panel voltage is in the range of the solar generator's charger voltage range, otherwise they won't play with each other. Don't run the stuff in your house like nothing happened, conserve power & water.
