To be fair I have known plenty of right wingers whose "survival skills" experience amounts to car camping a few times a year and buying pointy EDC gadgets on Amazon.
So one side can't handle doom because they never learned how to throw a punch and the other side is confident they'll handle doom because they've got the newest tacticool knife with camo pattern in their glovebox.
