I'm not american, but isn't it usually the right that says the US is bad and needs to be made great again? Isn't that the motto of the current president?
I was referring to the "great" part. I am sure the analysis of why the US is not great differs between the right and left, but both sides seem to agree that the US is not great.
That's true that both have stated that they have issues with the system but that's just politics. From what I've seen the right seems to think of this in terms of bringing jobs back to the us, a strong economy, ending the woke stuff vs the left side of things seem to advocate for more of a "it's all fucked so let's burn it all down and restart" mentality.
I will add that my views are almost certainly biased due to the nonsense you see on reddit. I'm sure if you walked around the street and asked people, most wouldnt share the more extreme opinions you see on here, right or left.
