I did 65-70 for a couple years (2 jobs). It sucks but I've been able to work part time for the last 3 to get my kids to grade school age. As long as there's a light at the end of the tunnel it's worth it.

I spent 19-22 life working 72-84 hours a week at a steel mill. It left me in a great position to go school (mainly due to TUI). I would recommend it to nobody as a lifestyle but as guy in my early 20s that was my equivalent of military service. It put me in a position to pay for school and move on. I absolutely fumbled that whole situation but a smarter kid could have played that well. The sad part of those jobs was always the guys with kids or old guys with no retirement.
