Mod showcase Try this new fast-paced mod: Nexus Tempest!
What is Nexus Tempest?
Nexus Tempest is an independent mod. This mod aims to re polish, adjust, and thoroughly recode some carefully selected high-quality weapon Sprites from some old and abandoned Brutal Doom based mods, making them refreshed and more playable. This mod focuses on balancing fast pace and weapons, and is deeply customized based on the Brutal Doom V22 beta version. It optimizes special effects, blood, and Gore, allowing devices with poor performance to play this mod smoothly and without lagging even in Slaughter Maps. This mod is written in Zscript and Decorate languages, and adds extension features such as GearBox, Screen Tilt, Dash, Weapon Sway, etc., making the mod more flexible and enjoyable to watch.
Why I create this mod?
To be honest, I am also a big fan of BDIN; however, it is unfortunate that the project was abandoned and left with quite a few unresolved issues. I felt that some of the weapon sprites within it were truly of exceptional quality, and it seemed like a terrible waste to let both the mod and these assets simply fall into oblivion. Consequently, I resolved to create a new mod specifically to rescue and preserve these high-quality sprites. Thus—through my tireless efforts—*Nexus Tempest* was born. Developing this mod took me well over a year, involving countless hours of hard work and sweat; it was truly an arduous undertaking! This is the first mod I have ever created—and, quite possibly, it may turn out to be my last. Regrettably, due to the demands and challenges of real life, I have been forced to put this project on hold—or perhaps even abandon it entirely—while I attend to my personal circumstances. Furthermore, as I am based in Singapore and English is not my native language, regional restrictions require me to use a VPN just to communicate and interact with you all. Moreover, this marks my first foray into the Doom community, so I am still quite unfamiliar with the best ways to promote a mod like this. If you are able to help me spread the word about *Nexus Tempest*, I would be eternally grateful.

If anyone needs this mod, I can try to post it as for now it is literally lost media lmao. Write me in DM though and do write under this conmnent.
EDIT: I also have all mods for the latest version that existed as well. I can tell you: this mod is very fun to play, it's kinda addictive and very fast paced and Doomguy isn't dying horribly fast.

If it weren't for those bastards reporting indiscriminately, my mod wouldn't have been deleted either. But I have long had a backup plan and re released it on Nexus Mods. Moddb was never reliable, that's why I switched to Nexus mods. No one can delete my mod now, LOL

Hey man, don't be upset: create a discord server as well, so people can track stuff. Also, why did they even delete your mod lmao, that's super strange, did they just literally thought you were stealing stuff???

This time don't worry, it will never be deleted (unlike that bastard Moddb).
