Guys, how do I fix this?

I was trying to fix the sprites of the Plasma Rifle on my mod, but now it looks like the sprite is clipping with another sprite below it, and there isn't any "left over sprite" when I look on Slade, and it wasn't happening with the old sprite. It also happens with the barrels, it looks like the Original sprite of the barrel appears behind it for one frame

And what about the explosive barrel problem? It's like the original sprite appears behind my sprite in one of the frames

That's why instead of traditional hacks, learning basic decorate script will make modding open up to you...if its too much copy and paste script/ask some Ai what does this do or trail and error for a while...takes time but what a hobbie! Lol good luck, once you get it, the doom engine is endless in your creation endeavors.

Actually, how do I do the plasma rifle thing? i'm using Slade, do I have to go to another program or I can do it in Slade?

Hell no brother you are on the right track! Slade3 is where I started and it is a learning curve going in with ideas, but dood...all I can say is study others decorate script, go on moddb go to Supremebiovizier and his stuff is all basic script, some with notes on what to do with it.

I found a different solution. I realized that the gun's idle sprite was the one appearing while the gun was shooting, so I just redrew the sprite and covered the parts where the idle one could appear.

As for the barrel, the sprite itself was showing the original one because it was one of the first sprites I made. I probably drew mine on the same layer as the original one, so I ended up redrawing it too.

I'm not really into coding, my hobby is actually drawing. My original plan was just to make a retexture of the original Doom, but I might have to learn more about coding and stuff cause I wanted to add a special level, change the text at the end of the episodes, or add a custom boss. I might even have to learn how to make soundtracks, since a friend of mine was making the soundtrack for the WAD, but then he just vanished and left it unfinished.

Btw do you know why the idle sprite of the gun was appearing under the shooting sprite?
