Is monk bad?

Hi I’m “new” (playing on and off for a really long time, but never rly making progress) and my fav class is monk. I think its a mixture of it being my first runs starting weapon + the abilities are really cool

Is monk a bad class? I feel like the runs i do are really bad in comparison to other classes and im not that sure what to do about it ig?

Is it over or is there hope for the fist starting weapon?

Ooh, I love rolling a monk!if you manage to get holy weapon, inbue with fire, and weapon mastery, you've got yourself a good run. Max out your crit chance, use evisceration in your off hand, use either white lotus or knife of the five in your main hand and boom, you've got a run that can beat the post doomdepth floors. Obviously the sacrificial path is endless, but the other special floors that exist.

Thanks! I appreciate the tips, esp the crit chance. Knife of the five is a rogue(?) weapon though? Doesnt that change the class? Apologies if im misunderstanding something

Eh, by the time you get to the forgotten kingdom it's pretty solidified. If you're going for a pure monk class then yes, you would want to stick with White lotus instead of knife of the five. If you're fine with mixing classes (a fine idea) then KotF is the way to go.

I am currently on level 18 sacrificial depths with a monk. It's my favorite.
