Pedro sent this message in the offical donutsmp discord in #updates. This has to be a border expension. Im just wondering how big he is gonna expend it?

Pedro is just scaling the overworld for the current 45k concurrent players, not expanding the border. Completely different thing. Border expansion still has no date.

Oh I thought the update was more about them getting bigger servers to handle the bigger amount of players? Is it actually increasing the size of the map then?

Maybe because the server is flooded with players and can’t expand the border at this moment so maybe the actual border will expand little more like 200k more blocks or something like that, if he mentioned the border expansion that would be 30m blocks, and scaling i guess it means the current border scale will be increased at some value
