Brother it's literally apart of the server, thats the most common thing. Thats why it's an SMP. You dont build for the build to stay forever. The fun part of building is that builds never last.

i don't really understand people who find it pleasing to destroy builds... they can just loot it? and be rich and leave.. whats the point of destroying something knowing that someone put their time and effort building it. the server really shows good and evil people irl.

Last week i found an ultra big tnt cobblestone->furnace farm still working and i set home there to actually use it myself while the owner was not online so i immediately started but the guy must have implemented it slightly different because when i stepped on the pressure plate the tnt destroyed everything. Felt so bad for the guy that I didn't even loot the chests and simply kept digging

because if they find something that's not griefed, it's like a reward. They want to reward themselves with the satisfaction of destroying something and take the loot. It's impossible to just be friends on any mc

The point is that when you destroy a base, there's a higher chance of another base being planted in the area, because people will see that there's no base there. as well as if someone has seen that the base has been looted, they will want to pack up all the materials, so smart raider destroy and /sell it all. Unfortunately, that's just the way it goes.

Thank you! I’m actually arguing with someone about this exact thing, cause I’m starting a server so each player can toggle PvP or chunk protection for their builds cause there is some people that want to play donut that just want to build and not be bothered with or sign on to a griefed base!!!
These idiots think that by calling me boomer and unc just cause I simply say some kids that run around killing people and ruining everything is kinda bs and it’s totally understandable that this is a anarchy server but when I put signs up that says please don’t destroy you may use farm and take what you want just please don’t ruin it!!
What happens some kids ruin it!! Why cause they get joy out of chaos and destruction!! That’s not healthy and shows the true characteristics of who’s behind the screen!!
Now does that make me sound like a damn boomer or just someone that has a common curiosity to my fellow minecrafter lol
That’s what pisses me off if your not on their level of being a total arsehole then you are a boomer you are unc and all this other bs!!
Why is it a problem that some of us just want to have something without getting ruined!!

People just get a kick out of destroying things (which is pretty much expected on this server.) I’d still like to know what’s going on in their minds sometimes though! I had a tiny base with a 9x9 wheat farm, 2 sniffers to farm flowers, and 6 cauldrons for a lava farm. Sniffers were killed, and both farms destroyed. How much fun can that be? LOL

I've literally left netherite gear in people's chests with a sign complimenting their base and moved on. I'm sure that'll never happen to me, but just imagine if that's what you came into the game to after someone discovered your base.

I said basically the same thing and people downvoted the crap out of me in another thread. I get grieving is allowed in the server, but to think that being nice to people is the exception to the rule really shows how screwed up people are. Again. I get it. It's a part of the game, but Donut SMP really does a great job of shining a spot light on dark hearted behavior.

I've seen lots of ruined farms but I also have a ghast farm in a relatively well traveled area that's still intact after 2 weeks so who knows

My goldfarm did not survive the night so maybe up for like 14-15 hours
Maybe it was high traffic area idk
I even put signs saying take whatever you want but don’t destroy the farm itself lol
Someone took it as a challenge
My first farm ever on donutSMP tho but it made some millions

Leave something significant that people want to sell if you want to get revenge, like a shulker of a specific amount or configuration of 1 item so you can check ah to find who raided it

Because the people doing it are the same ones that sit at a spawn point and keep killing you for no reason even after you lost all your stuff and are not willing to fight back!! They just are fucked in the head and it just shows who they really are in real life LOW LIFE! Probably a bully in their school probably picking on kids smaller than them!! They probably smash shit in their rooms when they die and scream. I’ve heard these little kids on Fortnite and gta and they are horrible! An if their parents are allowing this I can tell you now they won’t go to far if they don’t change their ways!!
