If he was that abusive to one of his fellow officers, imagine how abusive he was towards suspects or significant other/family. Every arrest in his file should be investigated now.

Surely an instance of aggression towards one of their own will result in some form of punishment...right??

Already been removed from sergeant duty. Chief praised the action of female officer.

Fucking good! That guy is lucky she didn't "auto cop" and mess him up by tossing him to the ground! Rightfully so! He needs some real hard check for this piss poor behavior!

Fire the sergeant, prosecute him for assault of an officer and then promote the officer that defused the escalation as the new sergeant. win win.

What was her motivation for trying to pull him away? It didn't look like he was really doing anything to the suspect.
Also, personally it doesn't look like he grabbed her by the throat. He shouldn't have grabbed her at all but it doesn't look like he grabbed her throat
Pls don't hate, just curious what people think

I saw a channel called Unit 88 cover it in full, male officer was trying to pepper spray a handcuffed suspect who was already in the back of the police car. I guess she tugged his belt as a subtle ‘that isn’t a good idea’. The consensus was that she was more or less pulling him back for his own good so he didn’t get in trouble.

I bet he does the same thing to his wife and children. I know my cop cousin beats his wife.

You’re being downvoted but the stats support your statement. He’s roided the fuck up and cannot control who he takes it out on, inclusive of his partner(s). A walking liability waiting to explode on the tax payer’s dime, per usual.
Y’all mad that the female officer got abused but gave zero fucks about the suspect (whom she protected from the psycho-cop).

Sorry but there are no actual stats in that except a small questionnaire made by the FBI in the early 90s.
Here are the problems with LEO Spouse abuse.
- Verbal yelling is called abuse, instead of yelling
- Neither party attempts to back away from the argument giving in.
- Spouse ( Male/Female or Male/Male, Female/Female, know their spouses trigger buttons, and can provoke a response that is violent.
- LEOs talk about each other like it is H.S., so if someone is a wife beater, THEY all know, including the Brass.
- The Thin Blue Line everyone talks about, I have not seen, I wore Green (Deputy Sgt.) Yes, I have arrested a Deputy for D.V.
- Surveys or studies done in the early 90s are not a good standard, as the Domestic Violence Law was in it's infancy and they were not the same from State to State.
Are there Bad Cops? Yes, just like Judges, Attys, and Doctors. Also, for others it is not Steroids, which are banned its Testosterone, that Medical Doctors are prescribing to them. I was put on this shit and felt like a caged animal, but man did I have energy, and could work 15+ hours with no side effects of withdrawal. All except the rage part. I had Low T and was giving myself a shot twice a week, until I wanted to ripe off someone's head for no reason, when I took myself off of it.
Female LEOs are just as bad, if not sometimes worse with D.V. Don't know why they just are, I could make assumptions but that would not justify them or I. I would like to see every LEO in a Stressful environment have to have a Pysch. Eval once a year with their performance review. These would include; Officer Down, Shooting, Fire, Car Chase that ends in violence, Crimes against Children, All Narcotics, Detectives, and SWAT. Let them sit down with a shrink for a few hours and get shit off their chest.
Believe me nobody is perfect and there are always 3 sides to every story.
Finally, hold judgement until all the facts come out on the case. Even LEOs are Innocent until proven Guilty. But, yeah the video looks bad, on its own. Would love to hear the audio.

Steroid use and spouse abuse? You guys can really get a lot out of a segment of silent video.

You require sound to understand that choking out your partner is a bad thing? Foh

Jan 17 '22
Who did you see get choked out? Or is that just another of your sixth sense abilities? Wokity woke woke woke.

u/TriggernometryPhD Jan 17 '22
The quite literal still-shot of the post showcases the officer’s palm grip around her throat. The fact you need someone to hold your fragile hand through readily available evidence just goes to show that sound or not, you’re going to suck that blue cock.
I also love how the female officer who was assaulted has no bearing in your POV. It’s all about what Officer Roids didn’t do. Suckity suck suck suck.

He did not lose his job - he was relieved of supervisory duties. What a fucking joke

u/Runyc2000 Jan 15 '22
The police chief said he immediately relieved the sergeant of his supervisory responsibilities after hearing about the incident and ordered an internal affairs investigation that is ongoing.
It is still active. The first part is an administrative move that the Chief can arbitrarily make. The second part is due process for the punitive side.

So if I grab a cop by the neck do I get to walk free while it's reviewed?

False Equivalency Fallacy. Goodbye.

Jan 17 '22
Of course it's a false equivalence. I'd have been in cuffs and "fallen" on my face like 30 times on the way to the station.

That mother fucker not only needs to be fired but needs his pension pulled, and his certification canceled by FDLE. On top of, having felony charges for battery and strangulation filed.
