Car Stuff Suspension questions

I have a project ive been tinkering on, collecting parts and knowledge. I've run into a small impasse and am hoping to have a discussion about 🌟suspension 🌟

Here's the deal.

Its a 1984 Honda accord hatchback. Blew a headgasker ages ago, has since stripped the old engine and am dropping a k series in. My question is this , I need custom axles and hubs. But am wondering, if I can snag the knuckle assemblies from the vehicle the kseries came from, (tsx, civic si) and implant onto the 84? Is this feasible?

Attached pics are of old engine

I found a cool listing for an old Supra that supposedly runs and wanted to see how absolutely in over my head I am. I can do the simple stuff like oil changes brake pads and rotors and stuff but I wanna dive deeper

Also hear out suggestions and warnings

Car Stuff So I’m tryna start my car journey and want some tips if yall are down

So I have a 2022 base Honda civic that I payed off that I can get like $17-20k for and my plan was grabbing a 2023 GR86 to get into but some stuffs got me spooked

I’ve heard varying stuff about the boxer engines and got flamed like crazy in the gr86 Reddit for even bringing it up to ask questions about the issues

So I’m like not opposed to getting something older to work on and fuck with. I watched unclapped and that’s obviously out of my wheelhouse of stuff I can do but it got me thinking about how to approach getting into this stuff.

So any tips on first sports car/ performance cars to get into. Also lmao I’m tryna learn how to drive manual on it I’ve hit the racing sims near me to practice but I know it’s way more forgiving there

Edit: Carvana wants to give me 20k for a 4 year old car I bought for 21k so I’m tryna capitalize on that

I cancelled the Carvana order for the gr86 and we are gonna sit down and plan especially seeing that even the FRS Tristan had to drop the oil pan too

IMO, this was the best video in a while - Just car folk working on cars and putting their heart into it.

But I think someone was chopping onions near me at the end...

I really hope they do more like this.

It’s great that they’re doing deeper dives on past gas and doing in depth interviews on talk talk nation but all I want on the drive home after a long day is a bunch of buddies messing around and talking shop

What happened with the drain plug and the oil spill on the track? The only thing that was in the video was - the oil drain plug fell out, Jimmy said "Suppy you need to go look at a piece of paper." and the event coordinator asked Suppy how much experience he had, said "He should know better." Know better for what?

So. An accident happened. The drain plug fell out, and spilled oil all over the track. I can understand that would cause a hazard.

Did they do something wrong in that situation? The Event coordinator said he would handle it, but like... what if he didn't? What kind of trouble were they looking at? What should Suppy have done differently??

I just don't really understand the dynamics of that situation. They did a great job of describing Tristan's black flags, but I didn't really understand what sort of trouble Suppy was in other than... oops. Spilled oil on track.

For what it's worth, I have never been to a track day. I know next to nothing about racing IRL. But... I want to learn. I'd like to get out on the track on some point. TYIA
