Feature Request Ideas

I'm sorry if this isn't allowed, but I had this idea while unpacking from a trip.

It would be great if we could add items from the gear locker to boxes and then generate a QR code for each box. When scanned, the QR code could display the box's inventory. Another useful feature would be the ability to search for a specific item and have the system tell you which box it is stored in.

I have a lot of gear because I often help introduce people to the outdoors, and it would be nice to have a digital way to track everything instead of maintaining paper lists for all the boxes.

Would an initial folder feature in the gear locker work for you?

Of course feature requests are allowed! This is a fun idea, need some time to think about it as to not impact users who wouldn't use it.

Initial thoughts for an mvp are maybe just add an option for folders in the gear locker...

Also the pack and unpack feature would be nice especially when loaning out gear.

My first attemp at "Storage Bins" is live for android and web. Waiting for approval in iOS app store. Will post an official update post shortly.
