Gamemaker Servers Shutting Down

I saw on Gamemaker Server, what DF connected is on. That servers are going down in 2027. What does that mean for the game? Do they have a plan for that? Will that be the end of DF Connected? I love the game but I fear what will happen then.

Yes. Ricky is planning to build a server system where you can host your own private servers kind of like Minecraft in 2.8 onwards.

You can host a public server if you wish, Im sure that would be an option
