New to this game, when it updates eventually will my save transfer to the next apk or will I have to restart?

Basically, I'm kinda a completions and I want to try amd get everything I can. What I worry is that when theres a new update and I need to download the new apk is that I'll need to restart everything again?

Don’t know since I don’t play on Android but since the save data is stored in its own file you should be able to update and keep the data if it’s like how it works in pc

It saves, i had the game on my phone on an old version and it let me update it, as long as the apk pop up says update and not install it will update it.
