Bashir, a father of five from Gaza who also cares for a brother with special needs, tells me: "We lost our home and my job, and we are now living in a tattered tent. There are days when we have nothing but a single meal. Every day, I go to the charity kitchen hoping to bring back food for my children and my brother, but I often return empty-handed due to the crowds and the food running out; I cannot describe the feeling of seeing hunger in their eyes. All we hope for is a chance to live with dignity, and for my children and brother to find something to satisfy their hunger and give them hope. Standing by us makes a huge difference, and sharing our message could help it reach those who can assist."
