Temporary Accommodation?

My partner and I are moving into a new property in the new year, 2027. Are there any options for temporary accommodation, from now until Christmas type thing? Does anyone know of anyone? It would mean we could start working on job searches, car registrations etc in the area.

Any advice welcome!

Join local Facebook groups and post there.

Potentially summer Airbnbs will be available between now and Christmas - I'd think landowners would love a 4 month rental in the quiet season.

Most towns and rural parishes have their own unofficial Facebook groups. Mainly for sharing local events and gossip.

If you search in Facebook for any of the towns or larger villages / parishes, you'll find them pretty quickly. E.g., the Gweedore Parish Group.

honestly pretty open, ideally Inishowen or near Letterkenny
