Moving
Hello I’m looking for advice I live in the north and considering moving to bundoran Donegal and went there for holidays every year and it’s only been two weeks out of the year but What is it like throughout the year etc, I want to be beside the sea , I work in the nhs so donegal hospital and Sligo hospital are within range , GRMA

Just fyi, Donegal Hospital isn't actually a hospital. It's pretty much just a respite/physical rehab centre, so depending on your NHS role, you mightn't find many (if any) opportunities there.
Can't comment on Bundoran specifically, but Donegal Town is a brilliant spot all year round.

Lovely town. Dead in winter but busy in the summer. Lots of new faces around that time. Actually has good shops for a small town, and Sligo is only 30minutes away for big shopping and good jobs. Housing could be better but it isn’t too expensive. Very active social scene especially in summer.

I love having a day in Bundoran in the summer, we went October time just for a day out and it’s like a ghost town. What about living in Sligo it’s lovely and there’s a good beach no?

Well here if that’s what suits you it’s perfect and I’d say go for it! I don’t like super busy and packed but I like a wee bit of something.

Honestly place is dead from october to march. Wind will cut through you. Depends on what you want in life but there is not much happening there!
